Amanda Grassello is a junior and has been at the station since fall 2009. She is currently the flier girl at the station, creating fliers and other promotion whatsits on a regular basis. If you ever see a UNC radio flier around the UNC campus that was probably her doing. She has helped in several projects at the station including homecoming, training, and running the liners committee. She is glad she found the station and hopes to continue for the rest of her UNC career. Manda has two shows, one with her roommate Annette when they talk about unimportant stuff and things that are amusing but mostly they play music of the alternative rock and indie persuasion. Manda’s other show entitled “The Ladies’ Room” is a show that features female soloists, female led bands and all-girl bands. In her free time Manda is an anthropology major and likes to talk about it ALL THE TIME and to EVERYONE, be warned. Manda loves indie movies, Neil Gaiman and Kurt Vonnegut books, Elvis Costello and NOFX, if she could find a dude who likes these things to she would be sold on the idea of soul mates. Manda wishes she could be Veronica Mars, or at least a brunette version of her, crime solving, I mean who wouldn’t?
